  1. How can you dryer function if the dryer vent outside is covered by snow? Ice can build up too and be even more of a problem to remove if it’s high off the ground. (our techs can resolve this issue and offer recommendations to alleviate the issues).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Is your laundry room on an outside wall or in a garage? When the temperatures drop and stay below freezing, you could be at risk for bursting washer fill and drain hoses. (Installing metal mesh fill hoses and awareness of your drain hose are good ideas).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Here’s a simple comfort food recipe for corn pudding that we have enjoyed for years.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Ingredients<\/h1>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • 1 can of corn, drained<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • 1 can of creamed corn<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • 1 cup of sour cream<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • 1 stick melted butter (1\/2 cup)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • 1 box of Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        There are many variations of this corn casserole. You can add egg, a touch of sugar, or cheese. But in our favorite? These 5 simple ingredients.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Substitutions<\/h1>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        • 1 bag frozen white corn, thawed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          I have added up to 2 cups of sour cream for a more pudding-like texture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          You can also add sliced scallions, bacon bits, chopped jalapenos, diced sauteed red and green peppers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Instructions<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

          Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

          Place all of the ingredients into a bowl and mix them up.

          Transfer the mixture to a greased 8×8 baking pan. Place pan on top of a cookie sheet (just in case some of the butter spills over the side) and bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.

          The exact baking time will depend on the size pan you use, so just be sure to watch closely.

          When it is finished baking, it should be golden brown around the edges and slightly jiggly in the center. Test to see if it is done by inserting a knife into the center of the pudding – it should come out clean.

          Tip: corn pudding should have a soft, souffle-like texture. It should not be dry and firm like cornbread.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
