There are several possible causes for this, it\u2019s worth scheduling an appointment to get it checked out. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Sound<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Does your dryer cough, sneeze or wheeze?<\/strong><br><br>Unusual noises, like squeaks, rumbles or screeches, should be checked ASAP to minimize damage. Checking right away could save you money on a repair and get your dryer back to its best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Smell<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Does your dryer smell bad?<\/strong><br><br>A burning smell is a sure sign of a problem, but it could be minor, so get it checked out ASAP by scheduling an appointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Sight<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Does your dryer chew up your clothes?<\/strong><br><br>The inside or outside of the drum might need attention and can be treated by scheduling a service appointment to determine the cause and make a repair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>You can boost your dryer&#8217;s fitness by:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. <strong>Calling Appliance Master:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Call us for a dryer vent analysis and cleaning.<\/strong><br><br>First, we will thoroughly measure the airflow through your venting. Then we will recommend cleaning and replacement of the venting as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. <strong>Avoiding Overload:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dry loads that don\u2019t overload the machine.<\/strong><br><br>The machine should be 1\/2 to 2\/3 full for maximum efficiency. Too many wet, heavy clothes can overwork the motor that turns the drum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. <strong>Dryer Settings:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Use the sensor settings instead of time dry.<\/strong><br><br>Let the electronics in the dryer work for you. Using the sensor setting reduces drying time and improves dryer efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. <strong>Keeping Them Together:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dry similar fabrics together.<\/strong><br><br>Heavy towels separated from lightweight garments will dry at similar rates so you don\u2019t have to pull a few pieces out in between or run another cycle for the still-damp items. This also improves the dryer\u2019s efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. <strong>Loosening Up:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Loosen up compacted items before putting them in the dryer.<\/strong><br><br>Separate clumped-up items like bed linens and tangled jeans to allow air to circulate better &#8211; reducing dry time and improving the dryer\u2019s efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. <strong>Lint Removal:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Regularly (EVERY LOAD) remove lint from the lint filter and lint trap!<\/strong><br><br>This is the single most important tip to prolong your dryer\u2019s life!! Preventing lint from getting inside the dryer and throughout the venting not only improves airflow, it improves efficiency.
