In this episode of APPLIANCE MASTER LIVE – Bill, Kari and James talk about maintenance tips for your dishwasher.
Loading your dishwasher properly will produce cleaner dishes and will improve the efficiency on the unit. Most of the washing comes from the center and is then dispersed through the wash arm, make sure that your dishes are facing the center of the unit for better results.
Another tip is to not nest your utensils together for cleaning, if they are all nested then the water and dishwasher detergent cannot get in between those small areas to clean properly.
Always check your owners manual and follow what they recommend for your your specific unit because every dishwasher is different and may have other cleaning features that you might not have know of!
